MORE THAN A BOWL
When Ajisen Ramen first opened in Kumamoto, Japan in 1968, our mission was simple: serve delicious ramen that brings people together.
Over the decades, that mission has grown beyond our restaurants. Today, we believe a warm bowl of ramen can do more than satisfy hunger - it can provide comfort, create connection, and support communities when they need it most. In Japan, our team and volunteers regularly take Ajisen on the road, bringing freshly prepared meals directly to care facilities, organizations, and individuals affected by natural disasters. Through our Mobile Outreach Program, our Ajisen Truck allows us to bring equipment and ingredients on-site to recreate original flavours and serve Ajisen Ramen to those in need. In 2008, we celebrated our 40th anniversary by visiting 40 communities and sharing the ramen that generations have enjoyed.
While our roots are in Kumamoto, the values behind these initiatives continue to inspire the way we serve guests around the world, including here in Canada.
Because at Ajisen, every bowl has the power to brighten someone's day.
